Challenges of Converting an In-person Dance Course to a MOOC Course

چکیده

This article presents the design experience of “Folk dance as cultural heritage” course, which is offered to undergraduate students from University Cauca “massive online course” modality. It shows main challenges faced in exercise integration two in-person courses, one practical and theoretical, its process transformation into a MOOC. The course was designed for academic credits with six hours dedication per week an elective (non-mandatory) class Integral Social Human Formation (FISH) component, through space MOOC Open edX platform. courses their MOOC, brought it several related adjustment contents, activities evaluation. how these were this experience. worth mentioning that results obtained research associated contribution first folk modality Latin America, what makes innovative educational proposal allows rescue culture adaptation traditional contents.
